The debut album of Doré. Inspired by the works of Gustave Doré and William Blake. It is a concept album telling the story of Lucipher and his attempt on taking revenge on God for eons in Hell. The broken-hearted castaway gathers his army of sinners and storms Earth and Heaven. While on Earth he is surprised with what happened to humanity, in Heaven a stunning turn of events awaits.
On 06.06.2023 Musica Tenebris released Doré’s second material: “Unde Malum”. This time it was inspired by the poetic dialogue between two great minds: Tadeusz Różewicz and Czesław Miłosz. The two poets discuss the roots of evil. Doré arranged their poems into black metal songs. The single’s CD was released with extra disc with orchestrated version of the debut album. This version was available only in this box set.
